Ages
18 - 75 years old
Duration
Approximately 39 weeks and involves 12 clinic visits.
Compensation
Eligible participants will be compensated for travel-related costs.
Eligibility Criteria
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Are 18 to 75 years old
- Have a BMI of 30 or higher OR
- Have a BMI of 27 to 30 AND have a current diagnosis of at least 1 of the following weight related conditions; Pre-diabetes, Hypertension (High Blood Pressure), Dyslipidemia (High Cholesterol), Cardiovascular disease, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Weightbearing Joint Pain
Unfortunately, those with a history of type 1 or 2 diabetes are not able to participate.
Other inclusion and exclusion criteria may apply.

Overweight and obesity are complex health conditions that can be caused by several factors such as genetics, environment, hormones, or other medical conditions. The struggle to maintain a healthy weight can be a lifelong challenge for many, and significant weight loss cannot always be achieved through diet and exercise alone.
What to expect
Momentum are conducting a research study exploring the effectiveness of an investigational weight loss medication delivered via subcutaneous injection. The study medication aims to reduce body weight and improve health outcomes in people with overweight or obesity by reducing appetite and acting to block fat accumulation.
The study aims to determine the effectiveness on weight loss at different dosage levels of the investigational treatment compared to a placebo.
