- Have been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
- Are interested in contributing to medical research.
- Are able to visit one of our Momentum Clinical Research Clinics for 1 or more appointments.

Diabetes is a long-term health condition that affects the way the body uses glucose, which is essential for energy. In Type 1 diabetes, the body cannot produce insulin, while in Type 2, the body doesn’t use insulin effectively. Common symptoms include excessive thirst, frequent urination, fatigue, and blurred vision. With millions impacted globally, diabetes can lead to serious health challenges if not properly managed, including heart and nerve complications. While living with diabetes can feel overwhelming, with the right treatment, lifestyle changes, and support, individuals can lead healthy, balanced lives.
With more than 460 million people living with diabetes globally, and Type 2 diabetes accounting for about 90% of these cases, current treatments often focus on managing blood sugar through insulin therapy, medications, and lifestyle changes. However, many people still face serious complications like heart disease, nerve damage, and kidney failure.
