Our recent research has included studies looking at:

• Exploring the efficacy of an investigational combination of medications to prevent serious heart and lung issues in people with COPD.
• A new potential vaccine to prevent Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infection in adults suffering from chronic illnesses such as asthma or diabetes. 
• An investigational medication delivered via injection, for people with eosinophilic asthma, in which an increase in white blood cells causes inflammation of the airways leading to severe asthma attacks. 
• An asthma study for teens aged 16+ and adults that looks at the effectiveness of a combination of three drugs delivered via inhaler compared to current treatments using two drugs to manage asthma symptoms. 
• An investigational treatment designed to raise serum AAT to normal levels for people with AATD Emphysema, an outcome that current treatments do not achieve.  
• A potential new asthma inhaler designed for individuals aged 4 years and older. It is intended as a rescue treatment for worsening asthma symptoms, combining two medications in a single inhaler.
