Momentum Clinical Research is thrilled to announce that three of its leading research sites in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane have been selected to recruit participants for a groundbreaking study on Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Partnering with the Royal Melbourne Hospital, this study aims to assess the effectiveness of a new dietary supplement in relieving the symptoms of IBS, a condition affecting approximately one in five Australians.

Earlier trials of this dietary supplement showed encouraging results, with participants reporting a 50% reduction in IBS symptoms. Additionally, there was a significant improvement in quality of life as measured by a condition-specific questionnaire. Although initial participant numbers were small, this larger study seeks to validate these findings on a broader scale, offering a promising pathway toward symptom relief for many IBS sufferers.
