Momentum Clinical Research Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand Site

Momentum Clinical Research is proud to mark a major milestone in 2025: the 10 year anniversary of our Hawke's Bay site, located in Hastings, New Zealand. 

This anniversary celebrates a decade of advancing medical research, building strong community connections, and delivering high-quality clinical trials in the region.

Established in 2015 as part of the P3 Research network, our Hawke's Bay site began in the Village Health Centre in Havelock North. Since then, it has grown into a key contributor within Momentum’s Trans-Tasman network, playing an important role in advancing clinical research along New Zealand’s east coast. 

Crawford Davidson, the site’s first employee, brought energy and valuable clinical trial experience from the UK to help lay the foundation for success. Today, we're proud to have Crawford continuing to lead the team as Site Manager – a remarkable journey that reflects his ongoing commitment to clinical research in Hawke's Bay. 

Working alongside Crawford in those early days were the site’s first investigators, Dr Nine Smuts and Dr Alister Miller, supported by Dr Dean Quinn from our Wellington site. We are especially proud that Dr Smuts remains with us today, continuing a decade-long contribution to the Momentum network..
