Sarbecovirus Vaccine Studies Sydney DH
Darlinghurst Sydney
Are you a healthy adult interested in contributing to important vaccine research?
Momentum Clinical Research is conducting a clinical research study evaluating an investigational coronavirus vaccine designed to provide broader protection against current and future coronavirus strains.
By taking part in this study, you may help researchers better understand new vaccine technologies that aim to improve preparedness for future coronavirus outbreaks. Participants will receive health checks, close medical monitoring and support from a professional medical team throughout the duration of the study.

Coronaviruses, including those that cause COVID-19, continue to evolve and pose an ongoing global health challenge. While existing vaccines have been highly effective at reducing severe illness and hospitalisation, new variants and related coronaviruses can change over time, which may affect how long protection lasts.
Vaccines work by training the immune system to recognise and respond to viruses before illness occurs. This clinical research study is evaluating an investigational vaccine designed to stimulate a broader immune response, with the aim of helping the body recognise shared features across a range of coronaviruses. By targeting these common features, this approach may support protection not only against current viruses, but also against related coronaviruses that could emerge in the future.
This study is exploring a new vaccine strategy that looks beyond individual variants and focuses on longer-term preparedness. The study will help researchers better understand how the immune system responds to this investigational vaccine and how it may contribute to future vaccine development.
This is an early-phase clinical research study. Participants are not expected to receive a direct health benefit. However, the information collected may help researchers develop future vaccines that could improve global pandemic preparedness.
Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational vaccine or a control vaccine (already approved vaccine). Depending on the study group, you may receive one or two injections during scheduled clinic visits.
Throughout the study you will attend regular clinic visits for health assessments, which may include physical examinations, blood tests, and general health checks. These visits help the research team monitor your health and collect important study information.
Your safety and wellbeing will be closely monitored by our professional clinical team for the duration of the study
