Description

High cholesterol is a condition where there’s an excess of fatty substances (lipids) in the blood. Over time, this buildup can lead to narrowed or blocked arteries, increasing the risk of heart disease and stroke. High cholesterol often has no symptoms, making it difficult for people to detect without regular blood tests. It’s a common condition worldwide, impacting millions of people. Managing cholesterol is vital to maintaining heart health, and for some, high cholesterol may limit daily activities or lead to added stress around health risks. Research is essential to discovering more effective treatments for better management of cholesterol levels.

Current treatments for high cholesterol include lifestyle changes, such as a healthy diet and exercise, along with medications like statins to help reduce cholesterol levels. However, some people may need additional support to reach their goals.

What to expect

Momentum Clinical Research conducts clinical trials that investigates new treatment approaches that could help better manage cholesterol levels, improve heart health, and potentially reduce cardiovascular risks. Our studies explore investigational medications and other approaches that may offer new hope for those struggling to manage their cholesterol levels effectively, aiming to improve both individual and global health outcomes through innovative therapies.
