Respiratory viruses continue to pose a significant challenge to global health, particularly viruses such as Influenza. Influenza is a common respiratory virus that can cause serious illness in young children and older adults, and has the potential to cause severe disease if it emerges more widely.
Vaccines work by helping the immune system recognise and respond to viruses before illness occurs. New vaccine technologies, including messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines, are being explored as part of this effort. mRNA vaccines provide the body with instructions to produce a harmless piece of a virus, allowing the immune system to learn how to respond without causing infection.
Momentum Clinical Research conducts research studies that test new potential treatments that aims to better understand how the body responds to different respiratory virus antigens. Register your interest now to find out if you are eligible to participate in this study and help develop potential new treatment options.
All study treatments are free of charge and participants are paid for any study related costs.
