A/Prof Mark Bloch

Mark has served as the Research Director of one of Momentum’s founding companies, Holdsworth House, since 1992. With a distinguished career as Principal Investigator for over 180 Phase II to IV clinical trials, Mark has also authored 140 publications in leading scientific journals.

After earning his MBBS from The University of Western Australia, Mark completed a master’s degree in HIV and Sexual Health from the University of Sydney. He is currently a Conjoint Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales and has previously held the position of President of the Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM). Mark’s clinical expertise includes pioneering early treatment trials for HIV and advancing HIV prevention through PrEP.
